Adventure Weekend

Our most popular event, usually held monthly with extra dates added throughout the summer months. With up to a maximum of four customer vehicles plus the lead vehicle, the event begins at 09:30 on Saturday morning. The day is spent tackling the woodland off-road course, overcoming progressively harder challenges. Some obstacles are better tackled as a team, and an 'esprit de corps' develops throughout the day. When it comes time to relax around one of our legendary campfires in the evening, there are always a few stories to swap. The following morning, after breakfast, the group decamps and heads the short distance into Shropshire or Wales to explore the countryside.

Whilst these weekends are perfect for those just wanting to do a bit more with their 4x4, this is also an excellent opportunity for those overlanders who are looking to 'shakedown' their vehicle and kit prior to a trip.

4x4 Coaching

The demand for off-road coaching is increasing as overlanding becomes evermore popular as a means of 'getting out there'. Mudrut offers well-structured coaching days for customers in their own vehicles on a one-to-one, or group basis. Many standard driving techniques are counterintuitive in an off-road situation, so novice drivers are encouraged to seek formal training before venturing out with their vehicle.

The course and obstacles available at Lincomb Farm allow us to fully prepare you for tackling the kinds of challenges you could expect to encounter during an overlanding trip. We also offer advice on equipment and vehicle preparation but, as we do not sell either, you can be assured of our impartiality.

The Pyrenees

Rich in history, mythology and legend, this spectacular mountain range is an unbeatable setting for any adventure. Criss-crossed with a vast network of accessible (and not so accessible) tracks, this natural border between France and the Iberian Peninsular offers unlimited off-road opportunities for a two-week expedition.

Northern Lights Chase

The thought of the Arctic Tundra conjures up all kinds of images, but little could prepare you for the unexpected beauty of northern Scandinavia during the harshest, winter months. Mudrut’s expedition across Lapland is not for the faint-hearted; driving on ice and snow-covered roads through the dim light of the Arctic Winter may seem crazy, but the accomplishment of such a challenge is about as rewarding as it gets.
