The Pyrenees

Rich in history, mythology and legend, this spectacular mountain range is an unbeatable setting for any adventure. Criss-crossed with a vast network of accessible (and not so accessible) tracks, this natural border between France and the Iberian Peninsular offers unlimited off-road opportunities for a two-week expedition.

Mudrut will guide you over high, rugged peaks and through low, lush pastures, traversing the Spanish side of the border from a central point, to the Mediterranean coast. Here, where Catalan tradition remains seemingly untouched in the tiny mountain villages, this camping expedition takes you far away from the heavily trampled tourist routes and transports you into a true wilderness experience. Sandwiched between the two countries is Andorra, the tiny, yet vibrant tax haven that offers a lively intermission to the trip and some outstanding off-roading of its own.

The landscape varies dramatically through the seasons. Mudrut runs several two-week camping adventures throughout the year to cater for every kind of adventurer:-

- The Snowline Tour, in November, faces the challenges of the oncoming winter and the likelihood of the first snows of the year.

- The Spring Adventure, usually in April, is a fresh and exhilarating experience as the Pyrenees breathes new life after the tough winter.

- The Summer Adventure will please the warm-weather lovers amongst you, taking place during the heat of the Spanish September sun. With limitless accessibility to the higher routes, the panoramas will blow you away.
